Albumin in the pump prime: its effect on postoperative weight gain

Adding albumin to cardiopulmonary bypass pump prime did not affect postoperative weight gain in patients undergoing myocardial revascularization. This study found no significant differences in fluid balance or weight changes between groups receiving albumin and control groups.
