Mycolic acid index susceptibility method for Mycobacterium tuberculosis

A new mycolic acid index (MAI) susceptibility test rapidly determines Mycobacterium tuberculosis resistance to isoniazid and rifampin. This method shows high accuracy, enabling faster treatment decisions for tuberculosis patients.
