    • Acute urinary retention can be caused by various obstructive pathologies.

    Observation:

    • A 20-year-old male presented with acute urinary retention.
    • Diagnostic imaging and endoscopy identified a polyp in the prostatic urethra.

    Findings:

    • The prostatic urethra polyp was successfully resected using Ho-YAG laser.
    • Histopathological examination confirmed the polyp as fibroepithelial.
