Abstract:
Decreased levels of early and advanced glycation products were found in exercise-training diabetic rats as compared with sedentary diabetic rats. Adaptation to systemic physical exercise in diabetic animals affects not only enzyme-regulated metabolism but also non-enzymatic processes involving protein glycation.
