    Summary

    A new extra-flexible colonoscope (CF-SV) significantly reduces abdominal pain during unsedated colonoscopies, especially for patients with prior surgery or abdominal disease. This innovation may make routine sedation unnecessary for improved patient comfort and procedure success.
