Abstract:
Plasmid DNA profile and conjugative R-plasmids were detected in Salmonella clinical isolates. The study revealed that drug resistance of Salmonella clinical strains of different serovars was determined by R-plasmids with a mol. wt. of 60-90 kD, carrying a certain spectrum of resistance to antibiotics. 9 types of conjugative plasmids, differing in their mol. wt. and resistance markers, were detected.
