[Hyperlipemia in birds induced by estrogens]

Long-term administration of diethyl stilboestrol propionate to 1-1.5 and 7-8 months old clocks induced hyperlipemia and hyperbetalipoproteidemia, a decrease in the lipolytic activity and lipoproteidlipase activity in blood. In the liver a decrease in the lipolytic activity was observed against the background of lipids accumulation. It is found that these changes do not depend on the avian age.
