[The laboratory and chemical instruments, from XVIIth to second half of XIXth century]

After a presentation of the laboratory, the author describes the furnaces, the evaporatory, distillatory, fusion and vitrification vessels, the other instruments in glass, stoneware, earthenware, baked clay, copper, iron, tin, and those of pneumatic chemistry. He presents also the balances, reports the different mixtures to seal the distillatory vessels, the tradesmen of chemical products, envisages the existence of laboratory registers.
