Modification of the prompts in the CISD model for bereavement in the workplace

When a death of an employee occurs, surviving co-workers can be severely impacted, affecting their ability to focus productively on their jobs. Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) providers may occasionally be called to provide services in these situations (regardless of whether or not the death was a violent one). A modification of the prompts of the CISD debriefing model is presented as a method of responding to bereavement in the workplace.
