Special features of the construction of more centrally disposed lumbar lymph nodes allow a greater velocity of lymph flow through them to be suggested. In lumbar nodes the states of immune reaction such as lymphocytic hyperplasia and proliferation of the reticular cells as well as degeneration of the connective tissue after the action of harmful factors are met more often than in the peripheral nodes since they have more vast basin of the lymph collection. Specificities of the cellular composition give grounds to suggest a greater strain of immune reactions in the peripheral nodes especially those draining the internal and somatic organs simultaneously.
