Background:

  • A 32-year-old female with a history of pulmonary tuberculosis presented with urinary incontinence.
  • Clinical examination revealed a vesico-vaginal fistula. Imaging showed active pulmonary tuberculosis, right hydronephrosis, and a contracted bladder with fistulous openings.

Findings:

  • Histological examination of the bladder wall confirmed tuberculous cystitis.
  • Surgical intervention involving cecocystoplasty and fistula repair was successfully performed.
