[Dermabrasion of the face]

A report is presented on dermabration of the face in 58 patients, most of which were subjected to the treatment for cosmetic reasons. The abrasion was performed under general anaesthesia with a high-speed rotary drill. The results including the complications are evaluated from the viewpoint of the physician as well as from the viewpoint of the treated patient.
