Abstract:
As important as a precise diagnosis and an appropriate treatment, the words which the doctor is going to tell to the sick child and his family will have a determining therapeutic effect on the evolution or the regression of the disease. The present article illustrates this comment through histories lived in an intensive care unit of a Paris hospital.
