The Bispectral Index in children: comparing isoflurane and halothane

Bispectral Index (BIS) monitoring showed higher values with halothane compared to isoflurane at 1 MAC. However, BIS values were equivalent at awakening, suggesting caution when using halothane with BIS monitoring.
