Abstract:
The life span of the various mammalian species differs and is an important parameter in comparative oncology; it should always be expressed as a percentage in relation to the potential life span of each species investigated. Mammals are a highly heterogenous class of animals. This heterogeneity is also reflected in a random variation of their life span by species.
