Ventricular fibrillation in hypercalcaemic crisis due to primary hyperparathyroidism

Severe hypercalcaemia from primary hyperparathyroidism can cause life-threatening ventricular fibrillation. This case highlights a previously undescribed cardiac complication of extreme hypercalcaemia.
