[Analysis on the restenosis of post canaloplasty of external auditory canal]

Objective:
To explore the causes of restenosis of the postoperative external auditory canal and the prevention of restenosis.
Method:
The clinical data of 27 cases of external auditory canal stenosis in our hospital from January, 1997 to present were analyzed.
Result:
In our data, 27 cases of external auditory canal stenosis were treated by surgery. The restenosis had happened after the operation with a ratio of 25 percent.
Conclusion:
The precision selection of operative style and the lasting expanding of the external canal were important.
