Abstract:
The technique of auditory evoked potentials evaluates the auditory pathways along the vestibulocochlear nerve and in the brainstem. The authors stress the importance of this examination in the diagnosis of tumours of the cerebellopontine angle and they discuss its place in relation to radiological investigations.
