High NK cell activity in recurrent miscarriage: what are we really measuring?

Increased natural killer (NK) cells in women with recurrent miscarriage (RM) may be a temporary stress response to blood draw, not a sign of overactive immunity. This suggests primary RM patients might have heightened stress reactions.
