Objective:
To expound the principle of the direction reinforcing and reducing method in navel acupuncture therapy.
Methods:
The relation between direction of navel acupuncture and reinforcing-reducing is analyzed from classification and characteristics of the navel acupuncture.
Conclusion:
The direction reinforcing and reducing method in navel acupuncture therapy originates from Yinyang-Shushu system of Chinese traditional culture, and it is established on relation of diseases and classification of directions. Skillfully grasping the direction reinforcing and reducing method in navel acupuncture therapy can produce obvious therapeutic effect on the diseases with coexistence of deficient and excessive syndromes.
