[Prosthetic reconstruction after total rhinectomy and due to persistent lupus erythematosus]
Abstract:
A case with histologically verified nasal carcinoma and concomitant lupus erythematosus is presented. Total resection of the nasal pyramid was performed with local postoperative tumor control. The defect of the nose was repaired with silicone prosthesis without special holders, still the support of the spectacles was established. A satisfactory cosmetic effect was achieved.
