Alpha Interferon in AIDS-Related Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy

Recombinant interferon alpha showed no efficacy in treating progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML) in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). This study found no clinical improvement or extended survival in these patients.
