N-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) levels reflect changes in right ventricular structure and function in pulmonary hypertension patients undergoing treatment. Increased NT-proBNP indicates right ventricular dilation, hypertrophy, and worsening systolic function.
