Summary

Cholestasis, a condition of abnormal bile excretion, is diagnosed using bedside liver ultrasonography. Management strategies for cholestasis depend on whether the obstruction is intrahepatic or extrahepatic, guiding further diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
