Introduction:
Patients with terminal kidney failure represent an important socio-medical problem not only in our country, but also in most countries of the world. There are three options of treatment: transplantation, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Each of them has advantages and disadvantages.
Case Report:
This is a case report of an extremely obese woman on peritoneal dialysis. Due to obesity, we decided to use a presternal catheter. We wished to report our dilemmas, opinions and experiences associated with this problem, as well as opinions from avaliable medical literature.
