    • A 55-year-old male experienced sudden cardiac arrest and ventricular fibrillation, successfully resuscitated with an automated external defibrillator (AED).
    • The patient received advanced emergency medical services, diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction, and underwent percutaneous coronary intervention.
    • Therapeutic hypothermia was administered to prevent neurological damage, followed by stabilization and early rehabilitation.

    Findings:

    • The patient regained consciousness, showed stable vital signs during hospitalization, and demonstrated normal physical activity at six months post-event.
    • Echocardiography revealed no significant left ventricular hypokinesia, indicating preserved cardiac function.

    Implications:

    • This case highlights the critical importance of the chain of survival, emphasizing the role of public access defibrillation and timely advanced medical care.
    • Successful resuscitation and recovery underscore the effectiveness of integrated emergency response and post-arrest management strategies in improving patient outcomes.
