Background:

  • Chronic subdural hematoma (CSH) is a common neurosurgical condition.
  • The pathogenesis of CSH, particularly the role of coagulation, remains incompletely understood.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the coagulation profile within chronic subdural hematoma fluid.
  • To elucidate the mechanisms underlying CSH formation and expansion.

  • Analysis of coagulation factors in 30 CSH fluid samples from 25 patients.
