[The preparation of iron (III) chloride solution from salt with an unknown water content]

The authors have derived an equation of direct relationship between solution density and iron (III) chloride concentration in glacial acetic acid. Using this equation, one may define the concentration of a solution prepared from commercial salt, having determined its density beforehand.
