These methods are often initially favored. As the physician matures, early adopted methods then serve as the foundation from which differing individualized techniques are developed and employed. This article will examine the modifications and evolution of one surgeon's rhinoplasty techniques and philosophies over the first 6 years of practice and how this relates to the changes that have occurred over the same time frame in his mentors' practice.
