Self-expanding nitinol stent for malignant obstructive dysphagia - initial experience

Self-expanding nitinol stents effectively palliated malignant dysphagia in 31 patients with esophageal obstruction. The treatment provided significant short-term relief, with many patients maintaining satisfactory swallowing post-procedure.
