Histamine H4 receptor expression is elevated in human nasal polyp tissue

Histamine H1 and H4 receptors are elevated in nasal polyposis tissue, suggesting their role in the condition. Increased H4 receptor expression correlates with higher eosinophil cationic protein levels, indicating involvement in inflammation.
