Horizontal root fracture followed for 6 years

Summary

Intra-alveolar root fractures in permanent teeth can heal with calcified tissue, resulting in symptomless teeth. This 6-year follow-up shows successful healing of horizontally root-fractured teeth with complete pulp canal obliteration.
