Background:

  • Utilized data from the Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Study, a birth cohort.
  • Assessed 1,000 individuals at age 32 for asthma, atopy, smoking, BMI, FeNO, CRP, and fibrinogen.
  • Employed statistical analyses to determine correlations between FeNO and systemic markers.

Main Results:

  • No significant association was observed between FeNO and CRP.
  • A non-significant trend towards an inverse association between FeNO and fibrinogen was noted.
