[Dental prosthesis using immediate implants]

The authors emphasize the role of implantation in recovery of the maxillodental morphology and function and in the prevention of denture involvement in cases with removal of a tooth. Specific features of prostheses after direct implantation (implantation into removed tooth or root well) are described. Advantages of immediate implantation over delayed are enumerated.
