Are sounds from mechanical heart valves equal for different valve types?

The intensity of audible "click" sounds from mechanical heart valves differs by type. American-Trilogy-Sorin (ATS) valves produced the loudest sounds, while St. Jude Medical (SJM) valves were the quietest.
