Examining health outcomes: the case of maternal epilepsy

The paper examines the history and health outcome of a 21-year epileptic woman who was expecting her first child. At the initiation of the study period, the young woman was in her 8th month of pregnancy. Over a three month period, this study reflects upon her epileptic history/status, medical care, medication, and the health outcome of both the mother and infant following the pregnancy. The primary mode of assessment was a structured personal interview.
