Cataract surgery often requires refractive correction for optimal visual outcomes.
Pseudophakic monovision is an alternative to multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) for achieving spectacle independence.

Purpose of the Study:

To assess the visual results and patient satisfaction after modified pseudophakic monovision.
To evaluate the efficacy of monovision with moderate myopic targets in cataract surgery patients.

Main Methods:

Prospective study at a tertiary teaching hospital.
Patients underwent monovision for the second eye with a target refraction of -1.00 to -1.50 diopters (D).
Evaluated visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, stereopsis, patient satisfaction, and spectacle independence.
