A study of background radioactivity level for Tekirdag, Turkey

Background radiation in Turkey's Tekirdag province was assessed. Indoor radon (222Rn) levels averaged 86 Bq m(-3), with gamma doses and radionuclide concentrations in soil and water also measured, showing results consistent with other Turkish cities.
