Genetically positive patients with periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis, and cervical adenitis (PFAPA) syndrome exhibit distinct clinical symptoms. The Gaslini score aids in identifying PFAPA patients unlikely to have relevant genetic mutations.
