Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the effects of EA on Th2 cytokines, LTB4, and NO in an experimental asthma model.
  • To elucidate the anti-inflammatory mechanisms of EA in asthma.
  • To assess EA's impact on the Th1/Th2 immune balance.

Main Methods:

  • Male Wistar rats were divided into control, immobilized, sham acupuncture, and acupuncture groups.
