Study of a spherical phantom for Gamma knife dosimetry

Spherical water phantoms with PMMA, Plastic Water™, or polystyrene shells were simulated using Monte Carlo methods to assess absorbed dose to water (Dw) from the Leksell Gamma Knife. Plastic Water™ and polystyrene shells can be used without correction for accurate dosimetry.
