Diagnosis:
number of fins rays D1: VI; D2: I+9; C: 21-22; A: I+8; P: 17-18; Pv: 10; number of scales on the lateral line Ec: 27-28; number of vertebras V: 26. Evidence of sexual dimorphism is shown by two different shapes of urogenital papilla. The lateral system was observed using scanning electron microscopy after 2% glutaraldehyde fixation in sea water. The oculoscapular, preopercular canals, mucous pores are inventoried and the distribution and number of neuromasts are presented. The coding sequences for 18S ribosomic RNA are identified.

Testing a Claim about Population Proportion
There are two methods of testing a claim about a population proportion: (1) Using the sample proportion from the data where a binomial distribution is approximated to the normal distribution and (2) Using the binomial probabilities calculated from the data.
The first method uses normal distribution as an approximation to the binomial distribution. The requirements are as follows: sample size is large...

Lampbrush Chromosomes
LBCs are made up of two pairs of conjugating homologous chromatids. Each chromatid consists of alternatively positioned regions of condensed-inactive chromatin and loosely placed-active side loops, which can be contracted and extended. The loops resemble the...
