Summary

This rare intracranial xanthoma case involved both temporal bones, damaging mastoid air cells and compressing the cerebellum. Surgical removal of the lesion was successful.

  • Post-operative recovery was uneventful, with resolution of neurological deficits.

  • Early surgical intervention is crucial for managing symptomatic intracranial xanthomas.
  • Further research into the pathogenesis and optimal management of intracranial xanthomas is warranted.
