Abstract:
The interaction of Hoechst 8208 (H8208) with DNA and synthetic polynucleotides has been studied by absorption, fluorescence, flow dichroism, circular dichroism (CD), and viscosity measurements. The results are compatible with an intercalative mode of H8208 binding.
