Abstract:

We report a case of gastric trichobezoar in a pediatric patient who had trichotillomania and trichophagia, in whom a gastric ulcer was found in a barium radiograph and confirmed at surgery, when the trichobezoar was extracted. We review the different clinical features of this strange clinical entity.
