INTRODUCTIONThis protocol describes methods for synthesizing digoxigenin- and fluorescein-labeled RNA probes from linearized plasmids or PCR products for use in whole-mount RNA in situ hybridization on zebrafish embryos.

In situ hybridization (ISH) is a technique used to detect and localize specific DNA or RNA molecules in cells, tissue, or tissue sections using a labeled probe.
