[Internal approach of the knee in prosthetic surgery]

The authors propose a medial approach to the knee which permits to do any prosthetic surgery. The principle is to respect the quadriceps muscle, desinserting the medialis vastus along the femoral groove. The patella can be dislocated and turned of and the lateral side without musculotendineous section. The post operative courses are made easier.
