Abstract:
In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(6)H(8)NO(+)·ClO(4) (-)·2H(2)O, inter-molecular N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds occur. The protonated amine cations and the perchlorate anions are linked through the water mol-ecules, and the hy-droxy groups of the cations and the anions are linked through the water mol-ecules. The cations are connected to the perchlorate anions via inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. In addition, the crystal structure exhibits weak inter-molecular C-H⋯π inter-actions.
