Mitral and aortic valvular disease associated with benfluorex use

Benfluorex, a derivative of fenfluramine, may cause toxic valvular lesions. This case report details a patient with mitral and aortic valve disease linked to long-term benfluorex use, suggesting a potential drug-induced cardiac risk.
