  • Trans-thoracic echocardiography is the preferred diagnostic tool for evaluating intracardiac masses.
  • Surgical intervention was performed in all surviving patients, indicating its potential role in management.

Implications:

  • Consider cardiac metastasis in thyroid cancer patients with new cardiac symptoms like arrhythmias or decompensation.
  • Echocardiography is recommended for advanced thyroid cancer patients with cardiac signs; surgical intervention is advised if feasible.
